Describe the show
Start from a one-line idea, a trope in Drama Builder, or your own script. The Writers' Room turns it into a premise, an outline and real screenplays, and rates the hook until it holds.
Type an idea and an AI show generator should hand you a show: a story with a beginning, a cast you recognize, voices that belong to them, and episodes that follow on. ShowMaker Studio is an AI show maker built for exactly that. It writes, casts, storyboards, voices and renders, and you approve each stage before the next one spends credits.

Every character gets a character sheet, wardrobe and a fixed voice; every location gets a still. Shots cite them as @references, so the same faces and rooms come back in every episode.
A free narrated animatic plays each episode over stills and voices. When the pacing works, render video shot by shot, cut it in the Editor and publish.
Most AI video tools are clip generators. You type a prompt, you get a few seconds of footage, and the next prompt starts from nothing. That works for a single shot. It does not work for a show, because a show is defined by what carries over: the same people, the same places, the same voices, and a story that picks up where the last scene stopped.
A show generator therefore has to hold a production together, not just make pictures. It needs a script that knows who says what, a cast that is defined once and reused, a storyboard that breaks scenes into shots, voices assigned to characters rather than to lines, and an edit that assembles it all into something you can watch from start to finish.
ShowMaker Studio is built around that idea. The project is the show. A series groups episodes that share one cast and one set of locations, so episode ten is made from the same assets as episode one.
You can start three ways. Type an idea and let the AI Story Assistant draft it. Pick a trope in Drama Builder, which grows a premise into a series skeleton and episode outlines. Or upload your own screenplay, which ShowMaker structures faithfully rather than rewriting.
From the script, the cast and locations are extracted and drawn. Scenes are broken into shots on the Storyboard or in Scene Flow, where each beat of the script sits beside the shot that covers it. Dialogue is voiced per character. The free animatic lets you watch the whole episode before paying for video, and when it plays well you render only the shots that need motion.
Video comes from current models such as Seedance and Wan, with the character and location references sent with every shot. Multishot panels cover several shots of a conversation in one take, cut on the dialogue, which keeps a scene consistent. The Editor adds captions, score and sound, and you export an MP4 or publish.
Shows now live in two shapes. Vertical micro dramas run 60 to 120 seconds an episode for TikTok, Reels and the drama apps. Widescreen episodes and short films suit YouTube and pitching. ShowMaker makes both, and a Hybrid project keeps one story in two native frames, so the vertical cut is not a crop of the wide one.
Because a series shares its assets, making the next episode is mostly writing and directing. The cast sheets, wardrobe, voices and location stills already exist, and every new shot draws on them.
ShowMaker Studio also runs as an MCP connector, so an AI assistant can make the show for you. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to the ShowMaker server and ask it to write a premise, build the outline, show the storyboard or change a line of dialogue. The assistant works on the same project you see in the browser.
Anything that spends credits on video is quoted first, so an assistant cannot render without your approval. The MCP docs list every tool and show how to connect each client.
A tool that turns an idea into a show rather than a single clip: a script, a recurring cast, voices, shots and an edited episode. ShowMaker Studio does each of those stages and keeps the cast the same across every episode.
Yes, at the scale of short episodes. ShowMaker writes and produces vertical micro drama episodes and widescreen episodes or short films, with a series sharing one cast and set of locations across every episode.
ShowMaker Studio is free to start. The free plan makes narrated animatics over AI stills, so you can watch your episode with every line voiced. Rendering video needs a subscription.
No. Describe the idea and the AI Story Assistant or Drama Builder writes it. If you have your own script, upload it and ShowMaker builds the cast, locations and shots from your words.
Yes. Connect ShowMaker Studio to Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client and the assistant can write, cast, storyboard and voice the show. Video renders are quoted and wait for your approval.
