The story
An empty living room. A grandfather clock ticks. On the shelf, a ceramic figurine has been turned to face the wall. The camera keeps moving in.
Nobody is in the room, and something in it has moved.

This short was rendered with Seedance 2.0 inside ShowMaker Studio. It was a test of how a video model handles slow, quiet dread with no character on screen.
The opening is one slow push-in across the room, named as a location @reference (@living_room), in a 3D animated look with amber lamplight. The sound is written into the prompt: the clock, distant wind, the creak of settling wood.
Dread comes from one wrong detail in a normal room. A figurine turned to face the wall can be scarier than a monster.
